BAC are looking for volunteers to help with their Supported Hospital Discharge Service in Mansfield.

The service helps people regain independence following a stay in Kings Mill Hospital, prioritising those with little or no support network.

This may include:

• Phoning clients to do safe and well checks
• Light domestic duties in the home such as making the bed, putting a wash on or vacuuming
• Collecting shopping and prescriptions

Volunteers will be partnered with someone based on availability and locality. Volunteers can give as little as a couple hours a week to the service.
