Background information –

GymStarz Provisions CIC is a non-profit sports club offering gymnastics, trampolining, and aerial skills (Hoop and Silk).

We run a Tots group called TwinkleStarz as an extra requested session due to the lack of suitable services in the area.

We were established October 2010 and incorporated April 2015. We strive to offer a cost-effective service that give local the opportunity to participate in physical activity regardless of age, gender, ability, race etc.

The club offers all its services as disability friendly and will run one-2-one or small group sessions where needed to meet individual’s needs.

Our needs –

We are looking for individuals to assist to run our TwinkleStarz sessions on Monday and Wednesday, these sessions run from 10am till Midday.

This session is a Tots session for those that are starting to wobble, sit up, roll and move up to 3 years of age.

We are willing and able to take on multiple volunteers with full paid courses in food hygiene (Level 2), First Aid, Safeguard child and childcare/sport/fitness leader qualification.

A DBS is required for the position and will be applied for by though the club. Uniform (T-shirt and Hoodie) will be given as identification, inline with our club policy.

Duties (general guidance);-

To assist in centre opening and setup.

To welcome and register attendees.

To help maintain a clean and safe environment for all.

To prepare snack and hot drinks for attendees.

To actively participate – talking to attendees (both adults and tots), promoting play, and running small play and messy activities.

To assist in clean up and closing of the centre.

The volunteers will be required to be onsite for 9am and approximate finish is 12.30pm, 3.5 hours. We are on the main bus route and have McDonalds, Costa, Gregs and Dunkin Donuts within 5 minutes walking distance.
