Partners and Project

Partnerships & Engagement

We continue to engage and work with a range of groups, organisations and volunteers who support people across Mansfield District. Through the Community Champions programme, we work closely with a range of community organisations and businesses alongside partners from Mansfield District Council (MDC), the NHS and the Nottingham & Nottinghamshire Clinical Commissioning Group (NN CCG)

Working as an alliance with other infrastructure organisations across the County we deliver the Public and Patient Engagement Contract alongside the NN CCG Communication & Engagement Team. Working with local communities, patient groups and voluntary sector representatives we ensure that we capture the experience of local people in relation to health care.

The experience of people in our community is reported back to colleagues at the NN CCG, the Mid Notts Place Based partnership team and the Public & Patient Engagement Committee (PPEC) at a County Level. By working together and understanding the experiences of local people partners can ensure that services are designed and delivered effectively.

How it works

Partnership work has been a key priority for Mansfield CVs during the Covid-19 pandemic. Mansfield CVS has played a pivotal role bringing together a range of community organisations and partners, ensuring that all partners have access to up-to-date support service information.

What we do

Working closely with MDC we have developed a support information sheet and a food provision sheet which will give information to people in immediate need and act as a resource for those who support them.

Community Network Meetings

We hold regular Community Networking Meetings throughout the year. These meetings were formerly known as the Food for Thought Breakfast meeting, held at the John Fretwell Centre, but have changed to an online meeting during the Covid Pandemic. The meetings are an opportunity for partners to share information, promote their services/events and discuss how we can all work together to support people across Mansfield District.
