Local residents with a creative flare are being invited to show off their talents in collaboration with Mansfield Community and Voluntary Service (CVS), in designing badges that embody the heart of the community.
Mansfield CVS, is a non-profit, infrastructure organisation that provides a support framework so that local organisations can then support the community. It does this through eight themes; Comms & Marketing, Insight & Intelligence, Governance, Networking, Volunteering, Training, Community Engagement and Sustainability.
The invitation will be a great opportunity for budding artists and creatives to get involved and support the local community. The chosen design will be produced as a badge and given to volunteers across the district.
Vanessa Whitton, CEO MCVS said “This creative campaign is the perfect opportunity for the community to bring their inspiration and artistic flair to those who keep the heart of Mansfield beating. Volunteering can be done in so many different ways and by submitting a badge design, you are volunteering your time to a great community initiative.”
To enter, people can submit either a physical or digital version of their design.
Physical designs can either be scanned and emailed to info@mansfieldcvs.org, or posted/handed in to:
Badge Design Campaign, Mansfield CVS, Civic Centre Chesterfield Road South, Mansfield, NG19 7BH
Digital designs should be submitted via email: info@mansfieldcvs.org
All submissions need to include the name, date of birth, postcode, email address and telephone number of the creator in your email.
The closing date for submissions is 29 February 2024.
We will promote your training event via our website training diary, social media, newsletter and database.
