Mansfield Day Service reaches out to a wide group of people, covering an age range of nineteen upwards.  We offer an imaginative and flexible service for people, who require close support and supervision and to people who are working towards to living as independently as possible in their local community.  We aim to make each day for people who access our service an enjoyable experience.  We offer a range of stimulating activities designed to meet individual support needs and give new experiences in a safe environment through social, recreational and educational activities. What we offer We offer a service to meet the individual needs of people by providing a varied programme of activities, to develop and maintain people’s skills and abilities. Mansfield Day Service is committed to a person centred approach and the involvement of service users in decision making.  We ask for the opinions of the people using our service through our self Advocacy group where key issue are discussed and decisions are made about their service.   This helps our service to improve and provide the support and activities that people want. Facilities Mansfield Day Service has a wide range of facilities on offer, including a salon, a sensory room, gym, several activity rooms, a computer room, a modern teaching kitchen and a coffee bar
