Mansfield Volunteer Awards

The Mansfield Volunteer Awards take place every year during Volunteer's Week.

This is a celebratory evening that provides an opportunity to say thank you to all the volunteers across Mansfield and district who work tirelessly throughout the year to make a difference to their communities.

The ceremony is organised every year by a steering group of tenants, residents and volunteers, and supported by officers from Mansfield District Council, Mansfield CVS and Nottinghamshire County Council.

On the evening, awards will be given out to each of the winners from the seven categories:

  • Andrew Wallace Memorial Award
  • Young Persons Award
  • Margaret Wilson Memorial Award
  • Emily Dawes Memorial Award
  • Vaughan Thomas Memorial Award
  • Outstanding Volunteer Award
  • Business In The Community Award

Mansfield Volunteer Awards

This years ceremony takes place slightly later than usual on Thursday 9th July 2020 at the John Fretwell Sporting Complex.

My name is Deanna (it’s not always been but, explanations later) and I’ve been volunteering at Mansfield CVS roughly six and a half years now.  During that time I have worked with almost every creed and colour, the disabled; the gay and the transgendered; the last two of which count me among their company, told you I wasn’t always Deanna.
