Welcome Volunteer – Meet and Greet

Role Summary

A Welcome Volunteer welcomes new families to sessions and makes sure everybody has someone to talk to. Being a Welcome Volunteer is a great way to gain confidence, improve your communication skills, and get experience of working in a group.

Meet people who have not been to the sessions before and introduce them to other families
Make sure that everyone has someone to talk to
Explain what a Children’s Centre session is like, when the snack time is, what the song is etc.
