Practical support volunteer

Role Summary

The Butterfly project is part of an End of Life Care Together Service that are provided across Mid-Nottinghamshire. Our aim is to support you & those important to you to access care.

We understand the impacts life limiting illness can have on those around you so we are here to guide you with your choices as well as provide practical & emotional support to help relieve stress, anxiety and social isolation.

We are looking for an individual who is able to provide practical support to individuals with a life limiting condition. This is a very flexible role and is perfect for an individual who is looking to support those in the community. This is a varied role based upon the needs of the service user. We are looking for volunteers who have lots of different skills and can support with prescription collecting, shopping, gardening, dog walking. You do not need to have a car for this role and there is no minimum commitment. This is a perfect role for individuals who would like to volunteer around their own commitments as it is flexible.
