Activity Coordinator volunteer

Role Summary

The Butterfly project is part of an End of Life Care Together Service that are provided across Mid-Nottinghamshire. Our aim is to support you & those important to you to access care.

We understand the impacts life limiting illness can have on those around you so we are here to guide you with your choices as well as provide practical & emotional support to help relieve stress, anxiety and social isolation.

-We are looking for an individual to plan and run activities at our weekly friendship group. The activity coordinator will be responsible for planning and facilitating activities at our weekly friendship group. This will include but is not limited to chair-based exercise classes, bingo, quizes and games. The activity coordinator will be responsible for thinking of new activities for our service users to ensure they are happy and engaged. The Butterfly Project runs themed days which include beach days, afternoon tea, reminiscent days, and pamper days. We are looking for an individual who is proactive and is able to bring new ideas and activities to the weekly group.
