Mansfield Volunteers Recognised at Annual Awards
Volunteers who have made a difference to the communities of the Mansfield District were recognised on Thursday 6th June at the annual Mansfield Volunteer Awards Ceremony.

The event, at One Call Stadium, takes place on Wednesday 8 March, which is the day before National Social Prescribing Day. Social Prescribing will be a key theme, along with activities based on shaping future forums.
Vanessa Whitton, CEO – Mansfield CVS said “The voluntary and community sector is a vital component of a successful society, and I truly believe that this sector is key in the long-term sustainability of communities. As a result of the vital work was delivered by the sector did during the Pandemic, I believe that the sector has finally got the recognition it deserves.
It’s my responsibility to ensure that the voice of the VCS is accurately represented at a strategic level, and this forum will be an outlet to ensure important issues are fed back to relevant stakeholders and that local organisations have a collective voice.”
