Mansfield CVS CEO takes the hot seat!

Mansfield CVS CEO Vanessa Whitton was in the hot seat last week as part of West Notts College ‘Question Time’ event.

Vanessa was a panellist alongside MPs and local leaders.

The event, attended by A Level students, forms an extremely valuable addition to the students’ college experience, giving them the opportunity to hear directly from key members of the community and engage in some gentle debate.

Currently, Mansfield has a shortage of volunteers, particularly young people and so Vanessa invited the students to consider volunteering.

Vanessa commented “I am honoured to have been invited to take part in this innovative event and am delighted that the voluntary service is seen as such a valued voice alongside the local authorities and key partners.”
