Refugee Caseworker

Role Summary

Maun Refuge are looking for a Casework to support refugees and asylum seekers in Manfield and surrounding areas.

16 hours a week, flexible working.

£27,000 pro rata

We are recruiting for a two-year part-time post as Case worker at a salary of £27,000 pro rata. The post-holder will will work with refugees and asylum seekers to both deal with immediate issues and support to build a foundation for their life’s in Mansfield.  As well as working closely with the Maun Refuge Coordinator. The contract would be fixed term for the lifetime of the funding period, which is to December 2025.

This is an opportunity for a highly motivated person with skills and experience working with people to apply their approach to working with refugees and asylum seekers in Mansfield. Experience and knowledge of refugee issues is less important than a commitment to offering people support and respect and to work on relationships with our beneficiaries and the Mansfield community.
