Nottinghamshire Community Foundation, in partnership with Family Care, is hosting the following FREE course so book your place(s) now: Getting Started - Safeguarding ChildrenChild Protection Awareness TrainingDate: 4th December 2008Time: 5pm – 8pm Venue: St. Peters Centre, Mansfield, NG18 1AP ( http://www.stpeters-centre.co.uk/8331/ ) This course introduces the concept of writing your own Child Protection Policy and topics covered include:· Why we need Child Protection Policies· Child Abuse - Recognition, Responding & Taking Action· Good Practice Guidelines· Next steps - writing your own Child Protection PolicyWe recommend that, where possible, at least 2 members of a group attend the training and please note that booking is essential as places are limited.
